纽卡索大学（Newcastle University），也译作新堡大学或纽卡索尔大学，是一所位于英格兰东北部泰恩河畔新堡的一流研究型大学。该校创建于1834年，创建之初名为「医学与外科学院」(School of Medicine and Surgery)，随后成为分裂改制前的杜伦大学的另一半部的学院，在1963年根据国会法案(Act of Parliament)与杜伦大学分别成立各自独立的学校，正式全名为「泰恩河畔新堡大学」(University of Newcastle upon Tyne)。

Newcastle University (legally, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England. The university can trace its origins to a School of Medicine and Surgery (later the College of Medicine), established in 1834, and to the College of Physical Science (later renamed Armstrong College), founded in 1871. These two colleges came to form one division of the federal University of Durham, with the Durham Colleges forming the other. The Newcastle colleges merged to form King's College in 1937. In 1963, following an Act of Parliament, King's College became the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
