鼠鸟目（学名：Coliiformes）在动物分类学上是鸟纲中的最小的一个目。这个目的鸟形态像啮齿类，被笼统地称为鼠鸟，仅分布撒哈拉沙漠以南的非洲大陆。

鼠鸟目的鸟曾在广阔的范围分布，在英格兰始新世的地层中就发现过化石。现在它们仅分布撒哈拉沙漠以南的非洲大陆，而与其他大陆的鸟亲缘甚远。

The mousebirds (Coliiformes) are a family of birds. They are the sister group to the clade Eucavitaves, which includes the cuckoo roller (Leptosomatiformes), trogons (Trogoniformes), Bucerotiformes, Coraciformes and Piciformes. The mousebirds are therefore given order status as Coliiformes. This group is confined to sub-Saharan Africa, and is the only bird order confined entirely to that continent. They had a wider range in prehistoric times and apparently evolved in Europe.
