盛冈市（日语：盛冈市／もりおかし）是位于日本岩手县内陆接近中央的一个都市，同时是岩手县的县厅所在地，2000年12月升格成为特例市，2008年升格为中核市。

盛冈是北东北地区最大的城市，市内的经济依靠轻工业为主，另外旅游业也十分重要。

Morioka(盛岡市,Morioka-shi) is the capital city of Iwate Prefecture located in the Tohoku region of northern Japan. As of September 2015, the city had an estimated population of 299,169 and a population density of 337 persons per km. The total area was 886.47 square kilometres (342.27 sq mi).
