微囊藻（学名：Microcystis）是淡水中常见的一个蓝菌的属，其中包含会造成有害藻华的铜绿微囊藻（Microcystis aeruginosa），其毒素会导致肝脏、胆囊病变。

微囊藻的学名Microcystis来自拉丁文的mikros（小）与kystis（囊状物）。

Microcystis is a hepatotoxin (microcystin) producing genus of freshwater cyanobacteria which includes the harmful algal bloom Microcystis aeruginosa. Cyanobacteria produce two groups of toxin, neurotoxins and peptide hepatotoxins, such as microcystin and cyanopeptolin.
