Makindu

Makindu is a town in Makueni County, Kenya.

The town is located on the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, in Makueni County, in southeastern Kenya on the map, close to the International border with the Republic of Tanzania.

This location lies approximately 135 kilometres (84 mi), by road, southeast of Machakos, where the provincial headquarters are located. Makindu lies approximately 356 kilometres (221 mi), by road, northwest of the coastal city of Mombasa.
