满者伯夷（爪哇语：Madjapahit；马来语：Majapahit）是13世纪时东爪哇的一个印度教王国，位于今日泗水的西南，《元史》称为麻喏巴歇，《明史》称为满者伯夷。从1293年至1500年，满者伯夷王国曾统治马来半岛南部、婆罗洲、苏门答腊和巴厘岛。于西元1350年至1389年期间，哈亚·乌鲁克（Hayam Wuruk）在位时期势力达于巅峰，其领土范围甚至远至泰国南部、菲律宾、东帝汶。

德国东方学家贝特霍尔德·劳费尔认为“maja pahit”来自印尼的一种果树木橘（Aegle marmelos）的名字。

The Majapahit Empire (Javanese: Karajan Majapahit, Indonesian:Kerajaan Majapahit) was a vast archipelagic empire based on the island of Java (modern-day Indonesia) from 1293 to around 1500. Majapahit reached its peak of glory during the era of Hayam Wuruk, whose reign from 1350 to 1389 was marked by conquest which extended through Southeast Asia. His achievement is also credited to his prime minister, Gajah Mada. According to the Nagarakretagama (Desawarñana) written in 1365, Majapahit was an empire of 98 tributaries, stretching from Sumatra to New Guinea; consisting of present-day Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, southern Thailand, Sulu Archipelago, Philippines, and East Timor, although the true nature of Majapahit sphere of influence is still the subject of studies among historians.
