"Longing for You" is an American song performed by a number of popular artists in the 1950s and is based on a waltz from the operetta Ein Walzertraum (A Waltz Dream) written by the Austrian composer Oscar Straus in 1906/07.
Vic Damone and Teresa Brewer had chart hits with the song in 1951.
