海军上将约翰·拜恩（英语：Admiral John Byng，1704年10月29日（受洗）－1757年3月14日），英国皇家海军将官，13岁投身海军，1718年参与帕塞罗角战役。30年的海军生涯使他成为一位经验丰富和老练的海军将官，并在1747年获擢升为海军中将。

然而，拜恩最为人所知的事迹，是他在七年战争初期，于1756年败于梅诺卡岛战役。在战事当中，拜思因麾下战舰受损严重而决定鸣金收兵，返回直布罗陀，导致梅诺卡岛落入法国军队手中。拜恩事后被军法审判，更因「未尽全力」保卫梅诺卡岛，在1757年3月14日由火枪队运行军法处决，成为英国历史上最后一位遭军法枪决的海军上将。拜恩未获特赦而遭枪决的下场，在当时引起舆论极大的争议。

Admiral John Byng (baptised 29 October 1704 – 14 March 1757) was a Royal Navy officer. After joining the navy at the age of thirteen, he participated at the Battle of Cape Passaro in 1718. Over the next thirty years he built up a reputation as a solid naval officer and received promotion to vice-admiral in 1747. He also served as Commodore-General of Newfoundland Colony in the 1740s, and was a Member of Parliament from 1751 until his death.
