一氧化二氢（英语：Dihydrogen Monoxide，简称DHMO、H₂O）曾被用在一个化学式中作为水的别名，试图透过伪科学到处散布恐慌，向人们说明人们会轻信单方面的分析。此外还有“羟酸”等其他变种。

一氧化二氢，简称DHMO，是水的化学名称，但并不是国际纯粹与应用化学联合会所发布的化学名称，且几乎没有人会使用这个名称。

这个化学式强调许多水的负面作用，比如生锈和溺水导致的死亡，把这些「害处」归于水，呼吁人们同意禁止使用这种化合物。

这个化学式于1990年由埃里克·莱克纳（Eric Lechner）和拉斯·诺普芩（Lars Norpchen）提出，1994年由克莱格·杰克逊（Craig Jackson）修改。1997年，一个14岁的学生内森·佐纳（Nathan Zohner）以一氧化二氢为主题做了一个题为“我们到底有多蠢？”的论文，使一氧化二氢引起广泛关注。
