荧光灯（Fluorescent lamp），或称日光灯、光管、萤光管，是一种照明设备，属于弧光灯的一种。它使用电力在氩或氖气中激发水银蒸气，形成电浆并发出短波紫外线，紫外线被磷质吸收后，磷会发出可见的光以照明，这样发出可见光的方式属于萤光。

一般的萤光管以玻璃制造，在两端装有插口以连接电源及固定萤光管的位置。

与电灯泡不同，萤光管必须设有镇流器，与启辉器配合产生让气体发生电离的瞬间高压。

为了取代传统白炽灯，近年来发展出将灯管、镇流器、启辉器结合在一起，配合使用白炽灯灯座的改良型萤光灯泡，称为省电灯泡、「节能灯」或「悭电胆」，可以在不更换灯具基座的情况下，直接取代白炽灯使用。

A fluorescent lamp or a fluorescent tube is a low pressure mercury-vapor gas-discharge lamp that uses fluorescence to produce visible light. An electric current in the gas excites mercury vapor which produces short-wave ultraviolet light that then causes a phosphor coating on the inside of the lamp to glow. A fluorescent lamp converts electrical energy into useful light much more efficiently than incandescent lamps. The typical luminous efficacy of fluorescent lighting systems is 50–100 lumens per watt, several times the efficacy of incandescent bulbs with comparable light output.
