朱鹮（学名：Nipponia nippon），又名朱鹭、鹮、日本凤头鹮、红鹤、朱脸鹮鹭。根据2014年统计，朱鹮数量现在2000多只,其中野生朱鹮1000只左右。

与大部分鹭科鸟类相似，朱鹮的栖息地和取食地是分开的，它们喜欢栖息在高大的乔木顶端，在水田、沼泽、山区溪流附近觅食。

The crested ibis (Nipponia nippon), also known as the Japanese crested ibis or toki(トキ), variously written in kanji as 朱鷺, 鴇, 鵇 or 鴾, is a large (up to 78.5 cm (30.9 in) long), white-plumaged ibis of pine forests. Its head is partially bare, showing red skin, and it has a dense crest of white plumes on the nape. This species is the only member of the genus Nipponia.
