冠齿兽（Coryphodon）是已灭绝的一属哺乳动物。化石见于北美的上古新统和下始新统（约6350万年前至5200万能年前）、欧洲和亚洲东部的下始新统。代表着古老的全齿类，是一群笨重的动物，大约像现在獏一样大。

冠齿兽肩高约1米，长2.25米，是第一类吃草的大型哺乳动物。冠齿兽像河马般是半水中生活的，但却与现今的河马或其他动物没有关系。冠齿兽可能是生活在沼泽的。牠们广泛分布于5900-5100万年前的北美洲。牠们被认为是始新世中期蒙古后冠齿兽的祖先。

冠齿兽，尤其是雄性，有短的尖牙来叉起沼泽的植物。牠们的上肢长而下肢短，故行动缓慢。冠齿兽是所有哺乳动物中脑部与体型的比例最小的，估计牠们的脑部只有90克重，而身体则重500公斤。

Coryphodon (from Greek κορῦφὴ, "point", and ὀδοὺς, "tooth", meaning peaked tooth, referring to "the development of the angles of the ridges into points [on the molars].") is an extinct genus of mammal.

Coryphodon was a pantodont, a member of the world's first group of large browsing mammals. It migrated across what is now northern North America, replacing Barylambda, an earlier pantodont. It is regarded as the ancestor of the genus Hypercoryphodon of Mid Eocene Mongolia.
